In 2016 AAMoV will be recognising both individuals and teams or groups who achieve outstanding results with the Individual Volunteer Manager Award of Excellence and the Manager of Volunteers Team Award of Excellence.
Nominations for both awards open 22 July 2016 and close 16th September.
Every year, across Australia and New Zealand, millions of volunteers are involved across all sectors of society and give their time so freely sharing their energy and passion to make a very real difference in their communities.
As is often the case, the role of those who manage or coordinate the volunteers fades into the background, largely unrecognised. The AAMoV individual Volunteer Manager Award of Excellence and Volunteer Managers Team Award of Excellence are tremendous opportunities to recognise people working in the profession.
Whether the volunteer manager or managers have been on the frontline putting their lives at risk for the sake of their community or working in the community for sporting groups, the arts, local government, hospitals, environmental or community welfare organisations, these people ensure the true value and impact of volunteer contributions are recognised and measured.
At AAMoV, we like to bring to the forefront these managers of volunteers who we all know do an outstanding job to inspire, encourage and lead volunteers to be the best that they can be and to make a real difference in their communities.
Now it’s your chance to recognise an individual, team or group of volunteer managers and nominate them for one of the awards.
Nominees do not need to be members of AAMoV.
